Porcelain Veneers

What is a Porcelain Veneer?

If you’ve lost a large piece of a tooth (or the entire tooth) as a result of an injury or accident, root canal treatment, dental implant, or large cavity, Dr. Patel may recommend a dental crown.

What is a Porcelain Veneer?

If you’ve lost a large piece of a tooth (or the entire tooth) as a result of an injury or accident, root canal treatment, dental implant, or large cavity, Dr. Patel may recommend a dental crown.

While a filling covers just a small section of a tooth, a dental crown encases the entire visible portion and acts like its new outer surface. The result is a tooth restored to its original shape, size, and color. Dr. Patel offers custom-made, beautiful dental crowns to protect your damaged teeth and bring back their natural look and function.

Schedule an appointment to learn if dental crowns are right for you! Dr. Patel has helped hundreds of patients restore the look and function of their smiles with dental crowns.

Our dental crowns are…

  • Minimally-invasive

  • Durable — they’ll last for years

  • Resistant to stains and chips

  • Made from non-toxic materials

  • Custom-designed to fit your tooth

Natural Looking Veneers

DentArtistry uses three types of porcelain systems; Empress, Emax, and Feldspathic Porcelain. We also offer variations of No-Prep veneers like Ultraveneers and Durathins. The actual term used is biocompatible lithium disilicate glass ceramic – quite a mouthful! These are recognized as the most superior systems available in cosmetic dentistry, and these are the materials our skilled dentists have used in all of their award-winning cases.

Advanced Technology

The porcelain systems we have today are technologically much different than they were in the past. You may have seen veneers that remind you of Chiclets. That look is indicative of old-school dentistry, where very opaque and monochromatic porcelain was used, OR it was a porcelain crown fused to metal. The advanced technology we have today produces veneers that are:

  • Stronger

  • More translucent, like your natural teeth

  • Super thin

  • The best option for creating a beautiful, natural smile!
